I peeped this on the Jugrnaut site and was amazed. I use to graff a little back in high school after being inspired by Ross P. and Jake B., its always been in my blood to pick up a pencil and dootle. But this.. this is incredible..

Solo (ASC CREW!) was recently commissioned by Louis Vuitton to paint some graffiti to celebrate the new Stephen Sprouse collection.

Being in love with Hip Hop and being into fashion, I would of never thought of a collaboration like this! It makes me feel good to see it and all I can do is embrace it and keep pushing for my dreams.

I would of never thought in a million years that Solo would be working with LV but here it is, as fresh as it can be!

Oh yea the new collection is fresh too!

Big up Chicago, my 2nd home…

We at Drift Line are busy as a bumble bee. Just because everyone is slowing down doesn’t mean we are. Here is a sneak peak of the new web page I have been working on.

Looking to release it by mid-spring or the beginning of summer. The new web site launch will be focused on our new campaign for the 2009 season.

“For the love of the art…”

I can’t lie, this winter has put me in a slow stage, a place I’ve never been before but the creeping warm weather and Mr. Golden sun has got me back on my feet and running once again.

Working on new clothing, new ideas, carrying more products and brands, prepping the vehicle and walking a new road in 2009!

Keep posted and Thank you for supporting us!

Drifter X

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Its Monday, its raining and after watching Rob (Roadsterdrift.com) hit the touge in Japan with his S15 scraping guardrail, im thinking to myself how fun the sport was when I first started. The team I looked up to and really wanted to replicate my car after was Signal Auto.

They were cool, goofy and had great sense of style. From then on all the 240’s I have ever put together was orange and equipped with gold wheels. To do so just felt right…anything else was just not how I would roll.

A driver known as “Drifter X” was my favorite driver. Back in the day Mr. Komatsu would pull up in his Strawberry face, battled scarred 180 and it would feel like hearing hip hop for the first time. Just the pure love for what it was…

He was last spotted driving this car about 5 years ago…

Last I heard he wasnt drifting professionally….

Last I heard he was back on the touge, in his 180, doing it for the love of the art.

Another H-specs show!

Look, look, do you see me? This is the view from the performers eyes! After attending another Hieruspecs show i felt like i crossed off another good show off the list.

I am the biggest fan and i love the re-mixes that they have done to a couple of there joints. I also felt like a got a bonus peformance that night because it was Mida’s album release party and i got to see her jam for the first time, lil asian girl rock singer, she killed it! I love her style and i hope the best for her.

Drinks, good music, friends and waking up in the morning for breakfast at Pho Tau’ Bay on Eat Street made the weekend perfect! Back to work today and to grind, grind, grind…spring is almost here and i need to really get the vert out for some street action =)

Game over…

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

This one goes out to my buddy Angelo from Austrailia! He was in town for an intern gig and we all wish him the best of luck. Maybe, just maybe he will be back…

His last night here with us we took him to Bellanotte, Se7en, the W and Prohibition bar on the 27th floor of the Foshay for a farewell gathering. This TMF shot was for you, thanks Scooter for the idea =)

Ironic Extinction

Monday, March 9th, 2009

My boy in NY just release some of his new sweaters from his clothing line Ironic Extinction. Check out the hotness!

*IRONIC EXTINCTION* (I.E). Ironic Extinction wear is a symbol of irony and endless possibility translated into clothing. True to our name; we offer a range of fashion forward clothing that represent clean complexity. Even down to our infamous logo tshirts in which our highly amused dinosaur is riding the very asteroid that destroyed its populous breed, we are killing the image of safe conformity and instead encouraging the trend of individuality. For this reason, selective shirts are limited in styles and will rarely ever be made again. An I.E. man or woman will always be AHEAD of the game; leaving the act of looking BACK to the curious heads who turn in response to the wearer.

The makers of the brand began as 5 teenagers who were displeased with the masses of clothing production and instead decided to put their minds and money into their own creation. Now, all 5 of them are the epitomy of young, classy, men and women with distinctive taste, yet far from gaudy- the very representation of their brand.

Ironic Extinction is the shattering of any limitation in style. The age old adage that “only” the skies are our limit is over and done with; it’s time to look beyond our years but also enjoy our time now as lucrative, living beings. Ironic Extinction is more than a clothing brand; it’s a representation of your unique inner self to the rest of the outside world. I.E. is “Impossible Everyday” situations made possible. I.E. without a doubt “Is Everything” that represents you at your best. I.E. is “Ironic Extinction.”
